Along with rehearsals every Monday evening during the term, we look forward to attend a number of performances throughout the year.

Regular Events
Northern Youth Symphonic Wind regularly takes part in all levels of state and national competitions, including NSW State Band Championships. We also attend special concert events as opportunities arise.

Annual and special call auditions
Our annual auditions are usually held in December before the end of school term. Throughout the year we also do special call auditions for specific instruments as vacancies become available.

Weekly rehearsals
Each week NYSW members attend a 2-hour rehearsal at Artarmon Public School. Members must come prepared, including arrival with time to set up, ready with music, hand towel and water bottle; and spare reeds or mouthpieces if required.
